Restoration, Education, Vacation

Donate to Okihi
  • One that takes you away from loud city streets and replaces it with the sounds of a rushing river, wind in the trees, and the songs of birds.

Large stretches of land to explore that are tamed but not over cultivated.

As you wander that paths, you will come across outdoor experiences you can’t find anywhere else in town, nature blended with mindful intention.

Open to members only and to the public for special events and community work days.

Your donations go towards securing and restoring the property, which is the last remaining public access point on the North side of the Kern River.

As we collect donations it also makes it easier for us to match the money with grants and open the land up to public programs and free access!

We always can use gift cards to Lowes, Tractor Supply, Round Up, or any local nurseries for plants and trees.

Our Vision….

Build a sustainable community around the magic of the Kern River.

To be sustainable we must be mindful and that is why mindfulness will be the heart beat of Okihi Preserve.

By rehabilitating the land, rebuilding the infrastructure and supporting native species,

we can create a river front oasis for generations to come.
