Sound Bath Under the Stars at Okihi

Join Stephen and Katherine Winters of the White Wolf Wellness Foundation for a unique evening of sound, nature, and restoration.

About Okihi
Okihi is a magical 14-acre wild space along the Kern River—just 15 minutes from downtown Bakersfield, yet it feels like a world away. With 2,000 feet of riverfront, there’s plenty of space to relax and connect with nature. Joi Participants are invited to arrive as early as 4:00 PM to walk the property, explore the land, have a picnic, relax in the hammocks, say hi to the animals, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before the session begins.

What to bring: A yoga mat, camping sleeping pad or something comfortable to lie on, a blanket, pillow, water, and anything else you need to feel cozy and supported. Dress in layers for comfort as temperatures will shift in the evening.

Camping
Overnight camping, glamping and RV rentals are available by booking online through HipCamp or Air B and B

What is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is a deeply relaxing journey of sound and vibration. Instead of music with melody or lyrics, you’ll be immersed in tones from bowls, gongs, flutes, drums, didgeridoo, harp, voice, and layered soundscapes.

You may sit, lie down, or even drift into sleep as sound waves calm the nervous system and open the door to rest, insight, or dreamlike experiences.

Open to All
No experience needed—just bring comfort items and an open mind.
